Detail:
A natural or synthetic, substantially insoluble, inorganic or organic substance which imparts color and hiding power, and is used in making paints, enamels and coating materials. It my be in powder, pellet, flake, or paste form. Paste items are pigments which are ground in drying oils or varnish, with or withour small amounts of volatile thinner, wetting and dispersing agents, or pigments ground in Japan. Excludes pigments used in ink, plastic, rubber, sealing compounds, and adhesives.
