Detail:
A flat, circular, replaceable device, with or without a centrally located hole, designed to remove solid particles from fluids ranging in density from heavy liquids to gases. The removal of particles is accomplished by porous, fibrous or shredded material (metallic or non-metallic) which retains the solid particles in the fluid passing through it.
